Training

Operator training & laser safety briefing

A Class 4 laser demands more than a quick walkthrough. Every installation includes on-site training that covers the machine itself, laser-specific safety practices, and a supervised sign-off before an operator runs production unsupervised.

Hands-on trial welds under supervision
Pre-shift safety and process briefing
One-on-one operator sign-off

What training covers

  • Machine operation, settings and the workflow specific to your material and joint types
  • Class 4 laser safety: eyewear, controlled-area discipline, reflections and interlocks
  • Fume extraction and material-specific hazards (stainless, galvanised, coated metal)
  • Routine maintenance: protective windows, nozzles and consumable checks
  • Supervised trial welds, followed by one-on-one sign-off per operator

Who it's for

  • Operators who will run the machine day to day
  • Supervisors responsible for controlled-area rules and PPE availability
  • Maintenance staff handling consumables and routine upkeep
  • Anyone who will enter the controlled area while the laser is capable of firing
